These are ideal for a fun-filled and relaxed holiday. Our safari is non-participatory and allows you time to focus on interacting with nature while our highly trained staff caters to all the daily needs of your virtual mobile home. Safaris can be organized groups as well as families and run throughout the year. Scheduled mobile safaris are also available (See safari dates in the itinerary). Transport is via a comfortable open mobile safari vehicle for uninterrupted landscape and game viewing.
Two types of tents are available, the budget tent and the more spacious luxury safari tent. Both tents have an attached shower bucket and bush toilet. The interior is comfortable with fully made beds with duvets and clean sheets. In the winter hot water bottles are provided.
While on mobile safari you will experience authentic outdoor dining in the open dining room tents. All meals are provided for and prepared on-site by the accompanying chef. A variety of snacks will also be provided for in between meals.
Our campsite is spacious and has seven open campgrounds. Nestled among tall and lush woodlands, the campsite offers serene moments away from the hustle and bustle of civilization.
In the high flood season, the camp area is surrounded by shallow lagoons with an impressive variety of resident birds. Each campsite has a light source, fireplace, a standpipe, and a refuse collection point.
The camp is complemented by an ablution block with flushing toilets and hot and cold showers which are connected to the campsites by well-lit walkways.
Exhilarating motorboat cruises can be performed as a day trip or as part of the mobile safari activities on the Thamalakane River, Boro channel, Xakanaxa, and Chobe River. Exhilarating motorboat cruises can be performed as a day trip or as part of the mobile safari.
Boro Okavango River safari actively involves the local communities to give the travelers a unique experience in song and dance and local arts and crafts. Day trips can be arranged for a total indigenous Okavango delta or Tsodilo Hills experience of the San, Bayei, and Hambukushu.
Enjoy the mokoro rides in combination with the walking safari often done within a short distance from our camp. An excellent opportunity to spot birds and wildlife in the vicinity. Can be performed as a stand-alone day trip or as part of other mobile safari activities.
